ARC completed a geotechnical surface and subsurface investigation in support of our clients efforts to purchase a large section of beach front property on Harstine Island, South Puget Sound, Washington.  The client was able to show, with our help, how and where geology constraints and past surface water management had affected the steep bluffs and cliffs.  After providing our rough estimate of costs for remediation and drainage solutions, these issues became a significant part of the negotiation for the sale of the property.

This slide is about 50 feet high, caused by a drain pipe that was placed at the top of the slope.
